Dorothy Barley Junior is a large school that opened in 1934. We are an inclusive school with children from a wide range of backgrounds. Our children are well behaved, and enjoy the rich curriculum and wider opportunities we offer. We are fortunate that our site has extensive outdoor space including a large playing field, wildlife pond and garden.

Our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to support children’s learning. We appreciate the importance of links between home and school and value the views and support from parents and carers. We are a vibrant and forward-thinking school. We share our site with a special needs base for children with moderate learning difficulties.
